The nematode/copepod ratio is critically examined with a view to adding some precision to its proposed use in pollution ecology. At two unpolluted intertidal sites, differing markedly in sediment grade, the metabolic requirements of copepods are shown to be equivalent to the requirements of that fraction of the nematode population which feeds in the same way.   Journals & Books; Register Sign in. there are 10 named and some unnamed splanchnotrophid species with 43 host species. The present study reports eight Chilean opisthobranch species as hosts for Ismaila spp. (see Electr. Suppl. 02–03, Part 2). Reports of the Lund University Chile Expedition –49, No. Lunds Univ. Arssk.
